Student Drop-off | Pick-upMorning
Express drop-off Cars form a single line between the cones and the sidewalk and stop when directed by Morning Greeters. When the cars stop, children unbuckle and quickly exit cars on the sidewalk side. Greeters can help children get out of car and get backpacks, lunches and jackets. Say goodbye and make sure children have all their belongings ready as you approach the drop-off line. For safety reasons, children cannot exit the car on the driver’s side and parents cannot exit their cars in the express drop-off lane. Regular drop-off For children needing a little more time to exit cars or for children needing to exit on the driver’s side, cars may drop off children at the sidewalk on the upper parking lot. Children should go down the center stairs and cross at the crosswalk. Walking children in Parents walking children to the courtyard or classroom and parents visiting the office or other school location should park on the upper parking lot or on the grass along the fence next to the county field. Crossing parking lots Adults and children shall only cross at designated crosswalks. Please do not drop children off at the front end of the parking lot and have them cross through the cars and express drop-off lane. No drop-off and no parking zones Cars are not to drop children off along the fence line leading to the main school building or anywhere along the lower parking lot beyond the middle crosswalk. The area in front of F-building (where the 5th grade classrooms are) is a no-parking and no-drop-off zone. All signs and directions of the principal must be obeyed. Afternoon Afternoon pick-up procedures are similar to morning procedures. Parents should tell children where to meet the parents for pick-up. Children may only be picked up in designated areas and may only cross the lower parking lot at the center crosswalk. Children may not be picked up along the fence line leading to the main school building or on the ramp to the upper parking lot. If your child is absentIf your child is absent and you are requesting homework, please call into the office by 9:00am. This provides teachers adequate time to accommodate your request. Be sure to pickup your child’s homework before the office closes at 4:00pm. School phone number: 808-876-7610
