What is the Kula School Parent Teacher Association (PTA)?
The PTA ohana includes parents, teachers, administrators, businesses, families, and friends. By working together we support the education of our keiki. Join us today to make a difference in your child's experience and all the keiki within your community.
Our goal this year is to get as many parents involved as possible. Participation includes attending PTA meetings, volunteering at PTA events, volunteering at school events, serving as a classroom rep, helping your child's teacher, working in the library/cafeteria/playground, providing support and goals, getting to know the teachers and staff that support the keiki... and more.
The Kula School PTA is a 501(c)(3) organization created to support the education of Kula School students and staff. We are a membership organization with members who are parents, teachers, friends, alumni, community members, and local businesses. Kula PTA is a local PTA unit of the Hawaii Congress of Parents, Teachers and Students (HSPTSA), which is a branch of the National Congress of Parents and Teachers (the National PTA).
The Kula School Bylaws govern the operations of the PTA. The PTA email address is [email protected]. We do not have a physical office but we do have an email: [email protected]

Standing Commitments of the PTA
- Membership: We are increasing our parent involvement in Kula School and ensuring Kula School PTA represents the full diversity of our families.
- Fundraising: Raise money to support our children, teachers, classrooms, different learning programs, and other identified needs. For more information.
- Harvest Festival: Kula School's signature community event and annual fundraiser.

PTA Membership DuesThe Kula School PTA membership fee is $20.
Here's the breakdown: $9.25 goes to the state and national PTA associations which provide our liability insurance, membership cards, training, technical support and resources. The rest of the fees supports the activities of Kula School PTA. Your participation is essential to the future of our school. No family should hesitate to join for financial reasons.
