Parent-Community Networking Centers (PCNCs) at Hawaii schools connect students and their families with the resources and services of the school and community. PCNCs create supportive partnerships among the home, the school, and the community to improve student achievement, performance and growth, and building a sense of community. The Kula School PCNC is a school-based gathering place for parents, teachers, volunteers, and the community to foster learning, sharing and partnerships that are responsive to Kula School's expressed needs and concerns.

In addition to providing volunteer opportunities, the PCNC accepts donations such as new or gently used slippers, clothing, uniform t-shirts, school supplies, see the wish list for a complete list of items.

- Communicating - communication between home and school is regular, two way, and meaningful
- Need School Supplies - contact your teacher or PCNC to connect with WishingWell Resources for back to school supplies
- Parenting - responsible parenting is promoted and supported
- Student Learning - parents and families play an integral role in assisting student learning, including successful achievement of the Common Core State Standards and the Hawaii Content and Performance Standards
- Volunteering - parents and families are welcome in the school, and their support and assistance are sought
- School Decision Making - parents and families are partners in the decisions that affect children and families
- Collaborating with the Community - community resources are made available to strengthen school programs, family practices, & student learning
